Anger Management Evaluations Available!
Moving Day is a Reentry program that highlights the individual needs of inmates prior to their transition back into society.
The program provides current incarcerated individuals with opportunities to understand their life patterns, create a reentry plan, and recognize challenges they may face as they embark upon release. Program participants learn about productive actions for their goals, as they map out the blueprints for their new lives.
Within the workbook are real life stories of prior incarcerated individuals who have been interviewed during the course of their reentry journey and discuss their transition into society. Moving Day was created as a remedy to incarcerated individuals being released from incarceration without ever thinking about their reentry plan. The program covers brief topics that incarcerated individuals can use to initiate seeds of change.
Incarcerated individuals who complete the program will have 2 Reentry plans and a list of resources for the area that they will be returning to. Incarcerated individuals are encouraged to complete each section to help them begin to think about their individual reentry plan. Program topics cover potential careers after having a record, budgeting, parenting, drug use and gratitude. The course draws from Human Services practices and Life Coaching approaches.
